When to Replace
- Humidifier fails to produce humidity due to lack of water flow.
- Water continuously runs or leaks from the valve when closed.
- Valve produces a loud buzzing or humming sound but does not open.
- Visible cracks, corrosion, or damage to the valve body or electrical connections.
Installation Tips
- Disconnect power to the furnace and shut off the water supply before starting.
- Note the orientation of the old valve and install the new one in the same direction of water flow.
- Use pipe thread sealant on male threads for a leak-free connection. Do not overtighten.
- After installation, turn the water supply back on and check for leaks before restoring power.
